Pixar has revealed the story and cast featured in its latest production – a suburban fantasy titled Onward.
The California-based computer animation film studio that is a subsidiary of Walt Disney, said Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Octavia Spencer will star in the film, which tells the story of two teenagers elves who are brothers. The elves are to be voiced by Pratt and Holland.
Dan Scanlon director of Monsters University who will also direct Onward said the story would focus on a quest undertaken by the brothers to determine whether there is still magic in the world.
“At Pixar, we try to create stories that come from some kind of personal truth,” Scanlon said in a statement. “This film was inspired by my own relationship with my brother.”
