Paramount's comedy The Lovebirds, starring Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani, is skipping a theater release altogether and heading straight to Netflix. Just last week, Paramount announced that The Lovebirds would be delayed indefinitely due to the current situation surrounding the coronavirus. The film had a release date of April 3 but was unsurprisingly added to the list of delayed films, with no idea of when it might come out. Rae is well-known for creating, producing, and starring in the HBO hit series Insecure. Nanjiani gained recognition for his role in Silicon Valley, as well as the Oscar-nominated film The Big Sick, which he wrote with his wife, Emily V. Gordon, about their personal lives. Venom 2 is a superhero movie(upcoming) based on the Marvel Comics character Venom, produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel. Distributed by Sony Pictures, it is intended to be the third film in Sony's Marvel Universe and the sequel to Venom (2018). The film is being directed by Andy Serkis from a screenplay by Kelly Marcel, and stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock / Venom, alongside Woody Harrelson, Michelle Williams, Reid Scott, and Naomie Harris. Venom 2 is scheduled for release in the United States on October 2, 2020.

Disney's new live-action take on Mulan may not include any songs in the actual movie, but there will be a couple of brand new hits on the soundtrack when it arrives. Christina Aguilera recorded one of the most popular songs from the 1998 animated Mulan, "Reflection", and the beloved recording artist is returning to do the same for the new adaptation. Aguilera has recorded an updated version of "Reflection" that will be released by Disney later in the month, as well as a brand new track "Loyal Brave True" that is available right now.
